Baptism by immersion in water as an act of obedience symbolizing the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus and the individual’s death to his old sinful life – his burial and resurrection into a new life in Christ; and as an entrance into the Covenant of Salvation. We believe that baptism is a part of the decision to come to Christ, so we baptize all who accept Jesus.
The Lord’s Supper (Communion) is the holiest time in our worship service – so we choose to observe it each time we gather in the presence of Christ. The elements represent Christ's sacrifice on the cross: the bread representing Jesus' physical body, the provision from Heaven; and the juice representing Jesus' shed blood to pay for the sins of mankind.
